- Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance: Perform daily inspections and repairs on furnace transformers, motors, and high/low voltage panels to minimize production downtime.
- Submerged Arc Furnace (SAF) Support: Operate and maintain the electrical components of SAFs, including electrode control systems.
- Electrical Troubleshooting: Utilize testing devices (e.g., multimeters) to diagnose and resolve faults in 480V 3ph systems, PLC systems, and control circuits.
- Installation & Testing: Install and test recent motors,



control panels, and wiring systems safely.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to hazardous area safety protocols, including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) and proper PPE usage. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: ITI or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 3-5+ years in electrical maintenance within a steel plant, foundry, or heavy manufacturing industry.

- Physical Aptitude: Ability to work in high-temperature, heavy industrial environments.
