Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards and ensure a secure work setting.
Recommend and follow up on corrective actions for identified safety issues.
Carry out weekly EHS inspections with the Project In-Charge.
Organise and participate in monthly EHS Committee meetings.
Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks (TBT) and other EHS training programs.
Assist in first aid, accident reporting, investigation and near-miss reporting.
Inspect safety equipment, machinery, scaffolding, hoists, RCCBs, fire extinguishers, and welding/gas cutting equipment.
Monitor PPE compliance and complete worker induction, Aadhaar verification and ID card issuance.
Inspect and maintain safety signs across the site.
Visit labour colonies monthly to ensure safety, hygiene and welfare standards.
Ensure protected access to all towers and work areas.
Identify, assess and control workplace hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Industrial Safety, Fire & Safety,
or a related field.
2–5 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry.
Good knowledge of construction safety practices, statutory requirements, and EHS standards.
Ability to identify workplace hazards and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
Experience in conducting safety inspections, inductions, and toolbox talks.
Positive communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
Proficient in MS Office for maintaining safety records and reports.
Safety certification (Industrial Safety/Fire & Safety) will be an added advantage.
