Job Summary:

We are seeking a agile and experienced State Head to lead and oversee our Auto Retail Division for Cummins in the designated state. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing dealer networks, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving business targets aligned with company goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage state-wide operations for the Cummins Auto Retail Division.
Develop and execute business strategies to meet sales and service targets.
Build, maintain, and expand relationships with dealers and channel partners.
Monitor and drive performance through KPIs and monthly reviews.
Ensure compliance with company policies, customer satisfaction standards, and regulatory norms.




Coordinate with marketing teams to implement promotional activities.
Lead a team of Area Sales Managers and support staff.
Analyze market trends and provide insights for product positioning and pricing.
Manage budgets, forecasts, and profitability for the region.
Ensure after-sales service and customer retention targets are met.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Minimum 8–12 years of experience in automotive sales and retail, preferably in engine or commercial vehicle segments.
Solid leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using CRM, MS Office, and retail performance tools.
Ability to travel extensively within the assigned state.
