Job Description:

We are seeking a disciplined, reliable, and experienced Ex-Army Cook to manage food preparation and kitchen operations at the Managing Director's residence. The candidate should be skilled in preparing Indian and continental meals, maintaining high standards of hygiene, and ensuring timely meal service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks as per family preferences.
• Cook vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes with consistent quality.
• Plan weekly menus in consultation with the employer/family.
• Purchase, store, and manage kitchen supplies and groceries.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, utensils, and storage areas.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of food items.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Prepare meals for guests during family functions or official gatherings.




• Maintain discipline, confidentiality, and professional conduct within the residence.
• Assist with kitchen-related household duties when required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ex-Army background preferred.
• Experience as a cook in Army Mess, Officers' Mess, Guest House, or Private Residence.
• Knowledge of Indian, North Indian, South Indian, and basic continental cuisine.
• Ability to maintain high hygiene standards.
• Physically fit and able to work flexible schedule.
• Honest, trustworthy, and well-mannered.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant cooking experience.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Knowledge of dietary and healthy meal preparation.
• Experience serving senior officers or VIP households.
• Inventory and kitchen management skills.
