Job Description: A Marketing Officer in logistics drives business growth by promoting freight, warehousing, and supply chain services. They generate leads, analyze market trends, and build campaigns targeting B2B clients. This role bridges operations and sales to position the company competitively. Key Responsibilities

- Lead Generation: Identify and secure current B2B clients (e.g., in manufacturing, FMCG, and industrial sectors) requiring freight and transportation services.
- Market Research: Analyze competitor freight rates, industry trends, and market demands to pitch competitive logistics solutions.
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute digital, print, and B2B marketing campaigns to boost brand visibility.
- Collateral Creation: Develop sales presentations, brochures, and email marketing materials detailing service capabilities (e.g., FTL, LTL, warehousing, and supply chain solutions).
- Event Coordination: Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with dispatch and operations teams to ensure client expectations align with actual logistics capabilities.




- Client Relationship Management: Maintain long-term partnerships with existing clients to drive repeat business and ensure high satisfaction.

Essential Qualifications
- Experience: Typically 3–5 years of marketing, sales, or business development experience, specifically within the supply chain or transportation industry.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of freight forwarding, truck types (flatbeds, dry vans, reefers), shipping modes (road, sea, air), and basic transit dynamics.
- Negotiation & Pitching: Strong ability to negotiate contracts and spot rates with shippers and procurement managers.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in tracking marketing ROI, creating performance reports, and mapping regional or national target markets.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for building client relationships and writing RFQ (Request for Quote) responses.
