Job Description: An Instrumentation Helper assists skilled technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of various monitoring and control systems and their associated equipment. Key duties include preparing tools and materials, performing basic calibrations and troubleshooting, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and technical specifications. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience, supporting the team to ensure the reliable and protected operation of industrial processes. Responsibilities:

- Assisting Technicians: Work under the supervision of an instrument technician to install, test, and repair wiring, tubing, and control systems.
- Maintenance and Cleaning: Assist with the cleaning, adjusting, and maintenance of instruments and their physical components.
- Material and Tool Management: Organize, prepare, and transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from work areas.
- Basic Calibration and Testing: Help perform routine inspections and basic calibration tasks to ensure equipment functions correctly.
- Documentation: Assist with maintaining records of maintenance and repairs, potentially using a Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Safety Compliance:



Follow established safety protocols and procedures to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Troubleshooting Support: Aid experienced technicians in diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment problems.
- Reading Technical Documents: Learn to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals to understand system setups and procedures.
- On-the-Job Training: Gain practical skills and knowledge in instrumentation and control systems through hands-on experience and on-the-job training.
