Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Music Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education, expertise in teaching the IB Music curriculum, and the ability to inspire students to achieve excellence in music.

Key Responsibilities:

- Teach Music classes to students across various age groups (Grades 6-12)
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the IB Music curriculum
- Encourage students to explore diverse musical genres, styles, and cultures
- Foster a supportive learning environment that promotes creativity and self-expression
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music with other subjects and school events
- Develop and lead school music ensembles, concerts,



and performances
- Stay updated on best practices in music education and IB curriculum developments

Requirements:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Music Education or related field
- Experience teaching IB Music curriculum (or willingness to learn)
- Strong knowledge of music theory, history, and performance practices
- Excellent teaching, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels
- Proficiency in music technology and software (e.g., Logic Pro, GarageBand)
- Familiarity with IB assessment and evaluation methods

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience teaching in an international school setting
- Knowledge of multiple languages
- Performance experience as a musician
- Certification in music therapy or special education
