Role & responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging daily lessons as per curriculum for children aged 2 to 6 years

- Conduct play-based, activity-based, and creative learning sessions that support each child's cognitive, emotional, social, and

physical development

- Create a warm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment where

every child feels secure and confident

- Observe and assess each child's developmental progress regularly and maintain accurate progress records

- Handle classroom management in a gentle, age-appropriate manner with patience and care

- Prepare and maintain teaching aids, displays, and classroom materials for daily activities

- Ensure the physical safety, emotional wellbeing, and hygiene of

all children at all times during school hours

- Identify children who may need additional support and communicate proactively with parents and management

- Maintain regular and professional communication with parents on their child's progress, behaviour, and daily activities

- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, open houses, annual day, and all school events

- Submit weekly lesson plans and activity reports to the Academic Director on time

- Attend all staff meetings, training sessions, and

professional development workshops





Preferred candidate profile

- 0 to 3 years of experience in a preschool, playschool, or kindergarten freshers with the right attitude are welcome

- Genuine love for children and passion for early childhood education — this is non-negotiable

- Patient, warm, creative, and energetic personality

- Good communication in Tamil and English

- Ability to independently manage a classroom of 15–20 children aged 2–6 years

- Salem-based candidates preferred — or willing to relocate within Salem

- Prior experience in EuroKids, Kidzee, or any structured preschool franchise is a robust advantage

- Knowledge of Montessori, play-based, or activity-based learning methods preferred
