2. JOBDEFINITION

To maintain the guest rooms and bathrooms as per thestandards prescribed by the management.

3. DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES

Changing linen and making beds.

Removing used guest amenities andtrash.

Replenishing guest amenities andsupplies.

Inspecting rooms for safety hazardsand for the operating condition of equipment and reporting same to maintenance.

Checking for damaged linens.

Reporting lost and found articles,maintenance problems, or special room problems (eg pets in the room) to asupervisor.

Maintaining storage rooms andstocking carts.

Emptying linen from housekeepingcart into laundry cart.

Recording room status on workassignment sheets.





Providing information to guestsabout hotel services, facilities and other amenities.

Providing information to guestsabout local attractions/services.

Preparing rooms for guest arrivaland responding to special guest requests, such as delivering newspapers orcleaning a spill.

Listening and responding to guestsrequests or complaints.
