Designation: Accountant (Travel Desk) Experience: 23 Years Employment Type: Contract (68 Months) Location: Chakan, Pune Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) ERP Knowledge: SAP (Mandatory) Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Accountant Travel Desk to manage travel-related accounting operations, vendor payments, expenses reconciliations, and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate should have 23 years of relevant experience in travel desk accounting and hands-on experience working with SAP.

The position is on a contract basis for 68 months.

Key Responsibilities: Process and account for employee travel expenses and reimbursements.

Verify travel bills, invoices, and supporting documentation.

Handle travel-related vendor payments and reconciliations.

Maintain accurate accounting records for travel expenses.

Process invoices and journal entries in SAP.

Reconcile travel advances, corporate credit card transactions, and employee claims.

Coordinate with travel agencies, internal stakeholders, and finance teams for timely processing.

Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.

Prepare periodic MIS reports related to travel expenses.





Assist during internal and statutory audits by providing required documentation.

Resolve discrepancies related to travel invoices and employee reimbursements.

Required Skills: 23 years of experience in Travel Desk Accounting or Travel Expense Accounting.

Hands-on working knowledge of SAP (Mandatory).

Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.

Experience in invoice processing, reconciliations, and expense management.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work within timelines and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Candidate Profile: Prior experience in handling travel desk accounting within a corporate workplace.

Exposure to travel management systems will be an added advantage.

Immediate joiners or candidates available at short notice will be preferred.
