This is a remote position.

We are seeking a detail-oriented U.S. Local Listings & Business Directory Specialist to help build and manage the online presence of our U.S.-based businesses. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, verifying, and maintaining business listings across major U.S. business directories and local search platforms.

The ideal candidate has experience working with U.S. local business listings, citation building, and local SEO, and understands the requirements for maintaining accurate and consistent business information across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and manage business listings for U.S.-based businesses on platforms like:

- Craigslist
- Yelp
- Yellow Pages
- Google Business Profile
- Bing Places
- Apple Business Connect
- Better Business Bureau
- Angi
- HomeAdvisor
- Thumbtack
- Other relevant U.S. business directories and citation websites
- Set up new accounts using company-provided information.
- Complete account verification and listing verification requirements.
- Ensure all business information (Business Name, Address, Phone Number, Website, Hours, Categories, Services, etc.) remains accurate and consistent across every platform.
- Upload logos, photos, service descriptions,



and other business assets.
- Research additional U.S. business directories that can improve our online visibility and local search presence.
- Monitor listings for duplicate entries, suspended accounts, or verification issues and assist in resolving them.
- Maintain organized documentation of listing URLs, account credentials, verification status, and platform requirements.
- Work closely with our internal team to ensure branding and business information remain consistent across all online platforms.

Requirements

Qualifications

- Previous experience creating and managing listings for U.S. businesses.
- Experience with platforms such as Craigslist, Yelp, Yellow Pages, Google Business Profile, Bing Places, Apple Business Connect, and similar U.S. directories.
- Good understanding of U.S. local SEO, citation management, and business listings.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written English.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable using Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel to track listings and account information.
