Role Summary:
A reputed school in Sangrama (Sopore) is seeking a qualified School
Counselor to support students’ emotional, academic, and social
well -being. The ideal candidate should be empathetic, approachable, and skilled
in providing counseling interventions to students across different age groups.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct one -on -one and group counseling
sessions for students.
· Assist students with emotional, behavioral, and
academic concerns.
· Identify early signs of learning or emotional
difficulties.
· Maintain confidential records and prepare
counseling reports.
· Coordinate with teachers and parents to support
student progress.
· Conduct awareness programs on mental health,
bullying, discipline, etc.
· Promote a positive and supportive school
environment.
Requirements:
· Graduate/Postgraduate in Psychology /
Counseling / Child Development (mandatory).
· Prior experience as a school counselor
preferred.
· Solid interpersonal, communication, and
listening skills.
· Ability to work sensitively with children and
adolescents.
