Job Title: Credit Analyst – Financial Spreading

Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Credit Analyst with solid financial spreading skills. The ideal candidate will be able to read, interpret, and analyze financial statements of both public and private companies, perform adjustments, and provide insights for credit appraisal.

Key Responsibilities

Spread financial statements: Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, using the bank’s customized templates
Analyze supplementary schedules, notes, and MD&A; for detailed breakups and necessary adjustments
Apply accounting principles under GAAP / IFRS
Compute and interpret financial ratios




Monitor covenant compliance and ongoing financial reporting
Understand how information flows between different statements and ensure consistency
Communicate findings clearly with stakeholders
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proficient in English (written and verbal) with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Solid foundation in accounting and corporate financial systems
Expertise in GAAP / IFRS is essential
Good understanding of financial ratios; knowledge of Moody’s Risk Analytics is a plus
Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, ability to work independently and under supervision
