Job Description Summary

Responsible for activities related to the construction, building and commissioning on customer site, from site mobilization, through civil, erection and commissioning work, as well as management activities related to this scope. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

1.Operational:

- Identify Construction responsibilities as per tendered position.

- Review and establish scope, budget, and risk & opportunities the contract .

- Coordinate and lead handover process from Tendering to Construction reviewing Constructions scope and budget including risk and opportunities.

- Initially prepare and arrange to take possession of the site infrastructure . Develop and plan temporary and permanent site infrastructure RFQ file, receive offer and negotiate and place PO.

- Represent the site team in actions related to home office.

- Monitor and report on regular basis the overall construction execution, cost forecast and planning.



Develop and implement mitigation plans in conjunction with the Site Manager and Construction department heads .

- Ensure required resources are appointed and delegated in a timely and legal manner.prapare project guide line and implement , prepare PRM and load manpower on site.

- Coordinate subcontracts (M&E; contract ,infrastructure, turnkey vender ). Develop RFQ file, receive offer, negotiate and place PO within time period .

- Allocate, manage and coordinate Non Budgeted Costs (NBC) for proper cost reporting.

- Guarantee that all Construction related projects and their conditions are executed according to contract requirements .

- Provide timely, accurate, reliable and actual information to the Project Director and to the Construction management, in conjunction with the Site Manager. Report any discrepancies on site.

- Coordinate Construction disciplines for a proper accomplishment of project scope.

- Provide structure feedback with experiences and lessons learned in the duration and closure of the site

- Procurement of material for site from head office for site support.

2. Managerial:

- Develop Project Interns

- Project Assistants

- For Component Projects, responsible for the site personnel, their activities, duties and tasks.

- Is responsible for the off-shore budget.



For Component Projects, responsible for the on-shore contract budget.

- Ensure resources are appointed and delegated on-time and in compliance with the approved Delegation strategies.

- For Component Projects, oversee the whole execution of site activities and implement actions to mitigate deviations from the Project Execution Strategy.

- Represent the site team in actions related to home office

3.Authority:

- Project financial authorities according to Delegation of Authority

- Calling-up and delegating staff via the line office responsible

- Material procurement

- Adjustment of the infrastructure

- Conditions for delegation of personnel

- Off-shore cost forecasting

- Initiate or hold back payments to suppliers based on their fulfilment or non-fulfilment of the terms of the contract.

- Award contracts and orders for the project in accordance with directives of the line organization & within the delegation of authority of the company.

- Influence the selection of people assigned by Line Management.

- Support the SIM regarding evolution of Site Activities including but not limited to Budget aspects

Education & Trainings

Mandatory

- University degree (comparable with bachelor or master) in technical and managerial field having min 7-8 years experience.

- Project and Finance Management

Desirable

- Project Management certification
