Reporting To: Project Head / Operations Head
Location: Pan India (Extensive Travel Required)
Position Summary
This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining the highest standards of project quality, occupational health & safety (EHS), statutory labour compliance, and contractor governance across all project sites. The incumbent will act as the company's independent compliance representative, ensuring projects are executed safely, legally, and in accordance with customer specifications and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement project QA/QC procedures, inspection plans and quality checklists.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and audits at project sites.
- Ensure installation conforms to drawings, specifications, SOPs and customer requirements.
- Monitor workmanship, materials, testing & commissioning records and project documentation.
- Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), perform Root Cause Analysis and track CAPA closure.
- Implement EHS systems including toolbox talks, risk assessments, permit-to-work and emergency preparedness.
- Ensure compliance for work at height, electrical work, hot work, lifting, scaffolding, confined spaces and fire safety.
- Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses; submit reports and preventive actions.
- Verify contractor compliance with labour laws including labour licence, EPF, ESIC, wages, insurance, ID cards and statutory registers.
- Conduct contractor audits, onboarding, performance evaluations and monthly compliance scorecards.
- Coordinate with customers during quality and safety audits and close observations.
- Prepare weekly and monthly dashboards for management.

- 100% closure of critical audit findings within agreed timelines.
- Customer audit score above 95%.
Qualifications & Experience
- B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Industrial) preferred; Diploma with relevant experience may be considered.
- 510 years' experience in HVAC/MEP/Industrial or Construction projects.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, QA/QC systems and contractor management.
- Preferred certifications: NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, ISO Lead/Internal Auditor, First Aid.

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should possess a strong balance of technical knowledge, field execution experience, and statutory compliance expertise. The person should be capable of independently visiting project sites, interacting with customers, contractors and internal teams, and driving a culture of quality, safety and compliance.
