Your key responsibilities

- About the Role EY is looking for professionals with 3-5 years of proven privacy experience. The ideal candidate is a privacy professional with strong understanding of global regulations, practical implementation experience, and the ability to work with business, legal, technology, and risk teams.
- The candidate should be comfortable supporting client-facing engagements, preparing high-quality deliverables, and translating privacy requirements into actionable business processes and controls.
- Key Responsibilities:
Support the design and implementation of enterprise-wide privacy programs aligned with applicable privacy laws globally and industry leading practices.
- Assist in developing privacy policies, SOPs, guidelines, and operating models.
- Support privacy maturity assessments and gap assessments against regulatory and organizational requirements.
- Work with stakeholders to operationalize privacy controls across business units and functions.
- Conduct and maintain data mapping, TIA, DPIA, RoPA, privacy notices, and retention schedules.
- Support DSR, consent, and breach management.
- Work with business and technology teams to embed privacy-by-design and privacy-by-default principles.
- Support privacy reviews of vendors, processors, partners, and third-party service providers, and update/draft agreements.
- Assist with other regulatory compliance engagements globally, outside privacy domain.
- Manage assigned workstreams, timelines, and stakeholder communications.
- Support proposal/business development, operations, and internal knowledge-building initiatives.
- Preferred Qualifications and Functional Skills: LL.B. graduate from a recognised university.
- Candidates with recognised privacy certifications (like IAPP ISO) will be preferred.
- Familiarity with privacy technology tools such as OneTrust, TrustArc, Securiti, or similar platforms will be preferred.
- Good understanding of information security concepts and their intersection with privacy.
- Robust documentation, report writing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables in a consulting or fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in teams.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality deliverables.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
- Candidates from Noida should be willing to travel to Gurgaon for client requirements.
- Candidates should be open to working in flexible shifts to support international client requirements across different time zones.
