Job Title Senior Cosmetic Formulator Company TCB Wellness Private Limited Location Karapakkam Chennai Experience Minimum 1 Year in Cosmetic Manufacturing Qualification B Sc Chemistry Mandatory Job Type Full-Time About the Company TCB Wellness Private Limited is the parent company of The Camel Bar - India s first camel milk-based skincare brand We are committed to developing high-performance clean and natural cosmetic formulations rooted in both tradition and innovation Role Overview We are looking for a passionate and skilled Senior Cosmetic Formulator who will be responsible for developing testing and improving skincare formulations including creams gels cleansers and other cosmetic products The ideal candidate must have a B Sc in Chemistry with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in cosmetic manufacturing and formulation Key Responsibilities Develop and optimize formulations for skincare products creams lotions serums masks etc Research new ingredients actives and global trends to create innovative cosmetic products Conduct lab trials stability studies and scale-up batches for production Document formulation processes and batch manufacturing records in compliance with CDSCO regulations Work closely with production and QA teams to ensure smooth transition from lab to production Ensure formulations comply with the Drugs and Cosmetics Act and relevant safety standards Test texture pH viscosity and sensory characteristics of formulations Maintain proper documentation and formulation records for license and audits Provide input on packaging compatibility and ingredient safety Candidate Requirements Bachelor s Degree in Chemistry B Sc Chemistry - Mandatory Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in cosmetic formulation manufacturing Familiarity with active ingredients preservatives emulsifiers and natural extracts Understanding of regulatory compliance lab safety and GMP standards Ability to work independently and manage multiple formulations in parallel Detail-oriented with strong documentation and problem-solving skills Nice to Have Experience with natural ayurvedic or camel milk-based formulations Knowledge of CDSCO cosmetic compliance documentation Exposure to scale-up from lab to commercial batch size What We Offer Opportunity to lead formulation for a growing skincare brand Creative and experimental lab environment Competitive salary based on experience Access to premium skincare products and R D ingredients Growth opportunities in a brand-focused company Job Type Full-time Pay 12 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Schedule Day shift Work Location In person
