Role & responsibilities

- Power Requirement Planning & Assessment:
Carry out detailed assessment and calculation of day-ahead, fortnightly, and monthly power requirements for the site to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Power Procurement Management:
Identify gaps between available power under existing PPAs and forecasted demand. Initiate and recommend procurement of additional power with client approval.
- Coordination with Stakeholders:
Liaise with utilities and agencies such as GUVNL, NTPC, PGCIL, WRLDC, WRDC, and clients for procurement of power through bilateral sources, power exchanges (IEX), etc.
- Load Monitoring & Optimization:
Monitor scheduled load vs. actual drawl and recommend productive load profiling strategies to optimize power cost.
- Power Purchase Strategy Development:




Review existing power purchase sources and agreements. Assist clients in designing optimal power procurement strategies based on load profile, including open access procurement, tendering, and vendor selection.
- Regulatory Compliance & RPO:
Ensure compliance with regulatory provisions and Renewable Purchase Obligations (RPO). Provide necessary support and coordination for regulatory matters.
- Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain proper documentation of power procurement, scheduling, and regulatory compliance. Prepare periodic reports and analysis for decision-making.

Preferred candidate profile

1) Qualification: B.E./B. Tech (elec.) +MBA preferable.

2) Minimum 5-7 years in relevant field .

3) Candidate from power sector need only to apply.
