Job Description: Music Teacher (Instrumental)

Pay Scale : 40,000 to 48,000

Music teachers instruct students on vocal and instrumental techniques, music theory, and history. They design comprehensive lesson plans, assess student progress, and foster an appreciation for music. Additionally, they coordinate rehearsals and direct students in school concerts and community performances.

Key Responsibilities

- Curriculum Development: Design and implement structured lesson plans in accordance with relevant educational standards (e.g., CBSE, IGCSE, or state curricula).
- Instruction: Teach practical skills for various instruments (e.g., guitar, piano, strings) and vocal techniques.
- Music Theory: Instruct students on music notation, rhythm, melody, and harmony.
- Performance Management: Organize, direct, and prepare students for school assemblies, cultural programs, and musical concerts.
- Assessment: Evaluate student performance through grading, exams, and constructive feedback to encourage growth.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper care, storage, and inventory of musical instruments and audio-visual equipment.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

- Education:



A Bachelor’s degree in Music or Music Education is typically required.
- Certification: Valid state teaching certification or license for academic instruction.
- Experience: Prior teaching experience (often 2–3 years) in public or private schools, or as a private tutor.
- Proficiency: High-level proficiency in playing multiple instruments and/or vocal performance.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, classroom management, patience, and the ability to motivate learners.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹48,000.00 per month
