- Vehicle operation and safety: Operate a heavy vehicle (e.g., tractor-trailer, dump truck) safely by following all traffic laws, company policies, and safety guidelines.
- Route planning: Plan and follow the most efficient routes, considering factors like traffic and weather, to ensure timely delivery.
- Inspections and maintenance: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to check for mechanical issues and safety concerns.



Document any defects and report them promptly.
- Loading and unloading: Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring it is properly secured and balanced during transit.
- Record keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and driver's log hours.

Requirements and skills
