Job Description – TGT SST Teacher

Qualification:

- B.A. in History / Geography / Political Science / Economics

- B.Ed. mandatory

- CTET qualified (preferred for CBSE schools)

Experience:

- Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience (you can specify 2 years if required)

Responsibilities:

- Teach Social Science (History, Geography, Civics & Economics) to Classes 6–10

- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, projects & assessments

- Conduct engaging activities, discussions and map work to enhance learning

- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback

- Maintain classroom discipline and create an interactive environment

- Prepare students for exams and guide them in improving writing skills

- Participate in staff meetings, PTMs and school programs

- Stay updated with the latest teaching techniques and curriculum changes

Skills Required:

- Robust subject knowledge of History, Geography, Civics & Economics

- Good communication & classroom management

- Ability to simplify concepts and engage students

- Familiarity with digital teaching tools (smartboard, PPTs etc.)
