AGM Quality Control (Ferro Alloys Unit)

Position: AGM – Quality Control

Location: Raipur, Chhattisgarh

Industry: Integrated Steel / Ferro Alloys

Key Responsibilities
Lead the Quality Control function for the Ferro Alloys Unit.
Ensure quality of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products as per customer specifications.
Monitor and control product chemistry for Silico Manganese, Ferro Manganese, and Ferro Silicon.
Manage chemical laboratory operations, testing, calibration, and quality documentation.
Drive process improvements to enhance product quality, yield, and metal recovery.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective & preventive actions for quality deviations.
Handle customer complaints, quality audits, and compliance with ISO/QMS standards.
Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, E&I;, and Commercial teams for process optimization.
Lead, mentor,



and develop the Quality Control team while ensuring adherence to safety and quality systems.

Desired Candidate Profile
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Metallurgical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering (M.Tech preferred).
Experience: 15–20 years in Ferro Alloys/Integrated Steel Plants with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Solid knowledge of Submerged Arc Furnace (SAF) operations, process metallurgy, laboratory practices, quality systems, and analytical instruments (OES/XRF).
