Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting management in financial planning and decision-making. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and FMCG business processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the general accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
Monitor cash flow, fund management, and working capital requirements.
Conduct variance analysis, expense monitoring, and cost control.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for audits and compliance.




Manage vendor and customer reconciliations.
Maintain inventory accounting and ensure accurate costing in line with FMCG standards.
Supervise junior accountants and ensure accuracy in daily accounting entries.
Implement and maintain internal financial controls and accounting systems.

Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance.
Professional certification (CA Inter / CMA / MBA Finance) preferred.
Minimum 5–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in the FMCG industry.
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliance.
Proficiency in Tally Prime / SAP / Excel / MS Office.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Robust attention to detail and integrity.

Salary Range: As per industry standards

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
