Role & responsibilities :
Source and develop fabrics based on design and production requirements.
Coordinate with vendors for fabric samples, approvals, and deliveries.
Conduct fabric quality checks including GSM, shrinkage, and color fastness.
Maintain fabric swatches, specifications, and development records.
Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams on material selection.
Research recent fabrics, textile trends, and sustainable materials.
Prepare technical reports and track fabric development progress.
Ensure materials meet quality, cost, and delivery standards.

Skills :
Strong knowledge of textile fibers, woven and knitted fabrics.
Understanding of fabric testing and quality control methods.
Valuable vendor coordination and communication skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Solid attention to detail and documentation skills.
Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of sustainable textiles is an added advantage.
