Legal Documentation & Advisory:
Independently draft, review, negotiate, and finalize LAP-related banking legal documents, including loan agreements, security documents, mortgage deeds, assignments, and securitization documents.
Provide legal advice and opinions to business teams on LAP-related matters and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
Assist in structuring LAP products by advising on the legal framework applicable to such products.
Ensure complete legal documentation and compliance for LAP transactions.
Due Diligence & Risk Management:
Conduct legal due diligence of properties intended for mortgage under LAP, ensuring compliance with risk mitigation measures.
Identify legal risks associated with LAP transactions and propose appropriate courses of action to safeguard the organization’s interests.
Ensure compliance with banking laws, financial regulations, and internal policies related to LAP.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
Work closely with relevant departments to address legal risks and provide proactive legal solutions for LAP transactions.
Liaise with external legal counsel and regulatory authorities as required.
Support business teams in structuring LAP deals while ensuring adherence to legal frameworks and guidelines.
