Job Description:

Position Overview: As the Talend Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for leading and executing strategic initiatives related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A;) for Talend, a leader in data integration and integrity solutions. You will play a crucial role in identifying potential acquisition targets, negotiating deals, and integrating acquired entities into Talend’s business ecosystem. This position requires a deep understanding of the tech industry, solid financial acumen, and exceptional negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement the M&A; strategy aligned with Talend’s overall business objectives.
Identify and prioritize potential acquisition targets based on strategic fit, market trends, and growth opportunities.
Deal Execution:
Lead end-to-end transaction processes including due diligence, valuation, and negotiation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (legal, finance, HR, etc.) to ensure smooth execution of deals.
Negotiate terms and conditions to achieve favorable outcomes for Talend.




Integration Management:
Develop integration plans and oversee post-acquisition integration processes.
Ensure alignment of acquired entities with Talend’s culture, policies, and operational frameworks.
Monitor integration progress and address any challenges or issues that arise.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including potential targets, advisors, and industry experts.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to garner support and alignment for acquisition strategies.
Market Analysis:
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential prospects for acquisitions.
Stay informed about industry developments and regulatory changes that may impact M&A; activities.
Reporting and Analysis:
