Job Description:

A Store Manager overseeing solar projects has a range of responsibilities that ensure smooth operations, effective inventory management, and effective sales execution. Below are the key responsibilities:
Store Operations Management
Ensure the store is well-organized and fully stocked with solar equipment (panels, inverters, batteries, charge controllers, etc.).
Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for handling solar products.
Maintain a clean, secure, and customer-friendly store workplace.
Inventory & Supply Chain Management
Track stock levels of solar products and reorder as necessary.
Work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Prevent stock shortages and minimize excess inventory.
Manage storage conditions to avoid product damage.
Sales & Customer Service
Train and supervise sales staff to provide excellent customer service.
Educate customers on different solar products and their benefits.
Assist in preparing quotations and proposals for clients.
Handle customer complaints and ensure satisfaction.
Team Leadership & Staff Management
Hire, train, and manage store employees.
Set performance targets for the sales team and monitor progress.




Motivate staff to improve sales and service.
Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions.
Financial Management
Monitor daily sales and store revenue.
Ensure proper billing, invoicing, and receipt management.
Control operational costs and work within the allocated budget.
Minimize losses due to theft, damages, or expired warranties.
Marketing & Business Development
Promote solar products through in-store marketing strategies.
Organize promotional events or campaigns to increase sales.
Collaborate with marketing teams to drive traffic to the store.
Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
Compliance & Safety Regulations
Ensure compliance with local solar industry regulations and standards.
Implement workplace safety measures to protect staff and customers.
Maintain proper documentation for solar projects and installations.
Coordination with Solar Installation Teams
Liaise with technical teams to ensure timely installation after sales.
Assist in scheduling site surveys and installation appointments.
Provide necessary materials and documentation for installation teams.
