Hiring Experienced AR caller to manage and analyze US healthcare receivables. The role focuses on maximizing collections, resolving aged AR, and ensuring timely followup with insurance

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Follow up with US insurance companies on outstanding medical claims on behalf of physicians/providers.
- Prioritize claims from aging buckets as per defined strategies.
- Analyze claim status and execute corrective actions with payers to secure payments.
- Review claims that are unbilled, in process, pending, paid, or denied.
- Transfer balances appropriately to patient responsibility when applicable.
- Request Explanation of Benefits (EOB) when claims are marked as paid but documentation is unavailable.
- Accurately document all actions taken on accounts to ensure continuity.

Claims Review & Documentation

- Review previous notes, actions taken, and medical history prior to payer calls.
- Validate insurance details provided by patients and correct inaccuracies.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of all documentation in patient account records.
- Identify coding issues, denial reasons, and additional information requirements, and route to concerned teams.

Aging Analysis & Trend Identification





- Identify reasons for delayed or insufficient payments.
- Document aging trends and escalate recurring issues to supervisors.
- Support management with insights on AR improvement opportunities.

Compliance & Quality Standards

- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company confidentiality policies.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly productivity and quality targets.
- Escalate difficult or complex cases in a timely manner.
- Maintain updated knowledge of payer policies, internal procedures, and training materials.

Required Experience & Skills

- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable (US Healthcare).
- Handson experience with insurance calling and AR followups.
- Strong analytical and rootcause analysis skills.
- Good typing speed and keyboard proficiency.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Solid documentation and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Experience is Athena software mandatory
