Job Opening: R&D; Design Engineer Speaker Manufacturing Industry

We are looking for a highly skilled and cutting-edge R&D; Design Engineer to join our product development team in the speaker manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design with hands-on experience in CATIA, Creo, and other advanced CAD tools to support the development of high-performance acoustic products.

Qualifications

Bachelors or Diploma in Mechanical, Product Design, or Industrial Engineering.

- 5 10 years of experience in R&D; or product design, preferably in speaker, audio, or consumer electronics manufacturing.

Skills & Knowledge Required

- Proficient in CATIA and Creo for 3D modeling, surfacing, assemblies, and drafting.
- Familiarity with additional CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and CAE tools for basic simulation and analysis.
- Good understanding of acoustic housing design,



enclosure geometry, and material behavior (plastics, metals, composites).
- Knowledge of DFM/DFA principles, GD&T;, and BOM creation.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop speaker components such as enclosures, grilles, brackets, and internal supports using CATIA, Creo, and other tools.
- Work closely with acoustics, electrical, and manufacturing teams to ensure optimal product functionality and manufacturability.
- Create detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and design documentation.
- Support prototyping, product testing, and continuous design improvements.
- Contribute to innovation in product design, material selection, and cost optimization.
