Role & responsibilities -
- Conduct in-depth analysis of potential merger and acquisition opportunities, including financial diligence.
- Manage the execution of M&A; transactions, coordinating with various stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Build and maintain robust client relationships, providing strategic advice and insights.
- Lead sector-specific research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the market.
- Utilize AI tools and technologies to enhance due diligence processes and improve decision-making.
- Utilize Analytical and Automation tools to perform the diligence efficiently.
Preferred candidate profile -
- Educational background: CA or MBA from a recognized institution.
- Relevant certifications in finance, investment banking, or M&A.;
- Financial Analysis: Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, Accounting, Valuation techniques,
and Due diligence processes specific to M&A.; Understands diligence adjustments in depth and can work during full transactional life cycle
- Data Analytics: Proficiency in data analysis tools, including advanced Excel, power apps, and data analytics and visualization platforms to analyze market trends and financial data.
- Market Research: Knowledge of third-party tools such as S&P; CapIQ, Factiva, Merger market for data extraction.
- AI and Automation: Familiarity with AI-driven tools and technologies that enhance M&A; processes, such as drafting efficient prompts, predictive analytics and automated due diligence.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of M&A; regulations, compliance requirements, and antitrust laws.
