Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, passionate, and detail-oriented Social Media Videographer & Video Editor who can transform ideas into engaging short-form and long-form content for Instagram, Facebook, You Tube, Linked In, and other digital platforms.

The ideal candidate should be capable of handling the complete video production workflow—from planning and shooting to editing and final delivery—while maintaining high visual quality and brand consistency.

Key Responsibilities Pre-Production

- Understand campaign objectives and content briefs.
- Assist in planning reels, promotional videos, and campaign shoots.
- Coordinate shoot schedules, locations, props, and equipment.
- Suggest creative shot compositions and storytelling ideas.

Videography

- Capture high-quality videos using DSLR/Mirrorless cameras.
- Operate gimbals, tripods, sliders, and handheld equipment.
- Set up lighting for indoor and outdoor shoots.
- Record high-quality audio using wireless microphones.
- Capture B-roll, product shots, interviews, testimonials, and event coverage.
- Ensure proper framing, exposure, focus, and camera movement.

Video Editing

- Edit Instagram Reels, Shorts, and promotional videos.
- Trim and organize footage efficiently.
- Add transitions, motion graphics, captions, subtitles, and animations.
- Synchronize music, sound effects, and voiceovers.
- Perform colour correction and basic colour grading.
- Export videos in platform-specific formats and resolutions.
- Maintain brand consistency across all edits.

Content Support





- Assist content creators during shoots.
- Suggest trending reel styles and editing techniques.
- Stay updated with social media trends and viral content formats.
- Create engaging thumbnails where required.

Asset Management

- Organize project folders and maintain backups.
- Manage footage, music, templates, and project files.
- Maintain cameras, lenses, lighting, batteries, and accessories.

Required Skills Technical Skills

- Strong videography skills.
- Strong video editing skills.
- Knowledge of composition, framing, and lighting.
- Understanding of cinematic camera movements.
- Audio recording fundamentals.
- Colour correction and grading basics.
- Knowledge of codecs and export settings.

Software

- Adobe Premiere Pro (Mandatory)
- Adobe After Effects (Preferred)
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Lightroom
- DaVinci Resolve (Good to know)
- Canva (Basic)

Equipment Knowledge

Experience using:

- Canon/Sony mirrorless cameras
- RF/EF lenses
- DJI Gimbals
- DJI Osmo Pocket
- Wireless microphones (DJI/RØDE)
- LED lighting systems
- Tripods and monopods

Preferred Qualifications

- Diploma/Degree in Visual Communication, Media, Film, Photography, or related field.




- 1–3 years of experience in videography and editing.
- Freshers with an outstanding portfolio may also apply.
