Hiring: Consignment Manager – Luxury Fashion (Pre-Owned Luxury Fashion)

Location: Khar West, Mumbai (Off Linking Road)

About the Role

Confidential Couture is looking for an experienced Consignment Manager to lead the sourcing, valuation, pricing, merchandising, and inventory management of luxury pre-owned fashion accessories.

The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of international luxury brands, resale pricing, luxury merchandising, and inventory planning, along with the commercial acumen to maximize profitability while delivering an exceptional client experience.

Preference will be given to candidates with proven experience in the Luxury Retail or Pre-Owned Luxury Fashion industry.

Key Responsibilities

Luxury Consignment Management

· Source and manage luxury consignments from individual clients, collectors, and channel partners.

· Build and maintain long-term relationships with consignors and high-net-worth clients.

· Negotiate consignment terms while ensuring healthy business margins.

· Drive client acquisition through calls, WhatsApp Business, referrals, and relationship management.

Luxury Product Pricing & Valuation

· Evaluate and accurately price luxury consignments based on brand desirability, authenticity, condition, rarity, demand, age, and current resale market trends.

· Monitor domestic and international resale markets to ensure competitive pricing.

· Recommend markdowns, promotions, and repricing strategies based on inventory performance.

Merchandising & Buying

· Select merchandise based on customer demand, sales performance, and market trends.

· Review historical sales data to determine replenishment and buying strategies.

· Research emerging luxury trends, seasonal collections, and customer preferences.

· Develop merchandising strategies that balance customer expectations with company profitability.





· Ensure premium presentation of products across retail and online channels.

Inventory & Commercial Management

· Monitor inventory movement and optimize stock turnover.

· Forecast sales, profitability, and inventory requirements.

· Maintain accurate inventory records and merchandising standards.

· Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, logistics teams, and channel partners to improve inventory flow.

Business Growth

· Identify opportunities to expand the luxury consignment pipeline.

· Stay updated with global luxury brands, resale trends, and industry best practices.

· Deliver an exceptional luxury customer experience while achieving business objectives.

Required Qualifications

Mandatory

· Graduate or Postgraduate (Business, Fashion, Retail, Luxury Management, Finance preferred).

· Minimum 1–3 years of proven experience in Luxury Fashion Merchandising, Buying, Consignment Management, or Luxury Retail.

· Proven experience handling luxury fashion accessories and high-value merchandise.

· Strong understanding of luxury brands, authentication processes, resale pricing, merchandising, and inventory planning.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

· Strong commercial acumen and analytical mindset.

· Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven.

Preferred

Experience in one or more of the following:

· Pre-Owned Luxury Fashion

· Luxury Fashion Retail

· High-End Watches & Jewellery

· Premium Lifestyle Brands

· Luxury Multi-Brand Retail

Experience working with high-net-worth individuals (HNIs)



and premium clientele will be a significant advantage.

Before You Apply, Please Ensure You:

You have 1–3+ years of relevant luxury retail or luxury merchandising experience.

You have hands-on experience with luxury product valuation, pricing, merchandising, buying, or consignment management.

You have worked with premium brands, luxury fashion, watches, jewellery, or other luxury lifestyle products.

You are comfortable handling high-value luxury merchandise and discerning clientele.

You are comfortable working full-time from our Mumbai store in Khar West. (No Remote/Hybrid.)

You possess exceptional communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.

You are comfortable building client relationships through calls, WhatsApp Business, and in-person interactions.

You can manage both client-facing responsibilities and backend merchandising, pricing, and inventory operations.

You are commercially driven and comfortable working towards business and profitability goals.
