Job Description – Store Executive

Location: Taloja, Navi Mumbai

Job Summary

The Store Executive will be responsible for managing store operations and inventory activities in the plant. The role includes material receiving, stock maintenance, material issuance, and maintaining accurate inventory records to support smooth plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Store Management

 Receive incoming materials and verify quantity and quality against purchase documents.

 Arrange and store materials properly in designated locations.

 Maintain cleanliness and safety of the store area.

 Ensure proper labeling and identification of materials.

 Monitor material movement in and out of the store.

2. Inventory Management

 Maintain accurate stock records in registers or software systems.

 Conduct regular physical stock checks and cycle counts.

 Monitor inventory levels and inform management about low stock items.

 Avoid excess stock, shortages, and material wastage.

 Track fast-moving and slow-moving inventory items.

3. Material Issuance

 Issue materials to production and maintenance departments as per approved requisitions.

 Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays.





 Maintain proper documentation for all issued and received materials.

4. Documentation & Reporting

 Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.

 Maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note), issue slips, stock registers, and other store records.

 Coordinate with procurement, production, and accounts departments when required.

5. Safety & Compliance

 Follow plant safety rules and material handling procedures.

 Ensure safe storage of tools, spare parts, consumables, and raw materials.

 Support audits and stock verification activities.

Skills Required

 Basic knowledge of store and inventory management.

 Valuable record-keeping and organizational skills.

 Basic computer knowledge.

 Attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualification

 Graduate in any discipline.

Experience

 2–5 years of experience in store and inventory management in a manufacturing industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
