Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for the Financials/accounting modules of our ERP system. This will include functionalities like accounts payable/ receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, financial reporting, etc.

- Leverage your accounting knowledge to identify and test for potential errors in financial data processing and reporting.

- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand new features and ensure quality testing throughout the development lifecycle.

- Execute test scripts, identify bugs and defects, and document them clearly for efficient resolution by the development team.





- Participate in regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain intact after new updates.

- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices for ERP testing methodologies and tools.

- Maintain clear and concise test documentation for future reference.

Qualifications

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in software testing, preferably with a focus on ERP systems.

- Proven experience in testing accounting functionalities.

Robust understanding of accounting principles (general ledger, accounts payable/ receivable, etc.)

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
