Role & responsibilities

You will manage the operational aspects of a fleet of trailers for B2B FTL business of the company. You will ensure:
- Maximum utilization of the fleet capacity by:
- interacting effectively with the operations and sales teams in the company;
- hiring and managing drivers and cleaners;
- ensuring minimum breakdowns by following the maintenance procedures rigorously, in consultation with the maintenance team;
- talking to customers and brokers for return loads where applicable
- and all other operational aspects related to the managing a trailer fleet for ODC / FTL loads
- Tracking of vehicles using GPS
- Best mileage and optimum consumption of diesel by the fleet

Note: this is an operations job, not a maintenance job

Requirements




- Minimum 2 years of experience in managing a fleet of trailers and FTL / ODC loads
- Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi and local languages
- Excellent IT skills, including MS Office
- Energetic and enthusiastic to achieve goals and targets
- Integrity and honesty
