Job Title: Duty Doctor / Consultant (MD General Medicine / MD Anaesthesia)
Location: Krishna Hospital, Cuddalore

About the Role

We are looking for qualified MD doctors (General Medicine or Anaesthesia) to manage patient care across ICU, wards, emergency, and operative settings. The role involves clinical decision-making, emergency management, and coordination with consultants to ensure high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess and manage patients in OPD, IPD, ICU, and Emergency
- Stabilize and manage critically ill patients
- Provide immediate medical care and respond to emergencies
- Assist and coordinate with consultants across departments
- Participate in ICU care, monitoring, and clinical decision-making
- Administer anaesthesia / support perioperative care (for Anaesthesia candidates)
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative monitoring
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and case records
- Supervise and guide duty doctors, nurses, and junior staff
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, safety, and infection control
- Handle medico-legal cases as per guidelines





Work Schedule

- Rotational shifts / On-call duties
- Weekly off on rotation
- Availability for emergency duties

Qualification

- MD General Medicine or MD Anaesthesia (Mandatory)
- Valid State Medical Council Registration

- Experience in ICU / Critical Care
- Exposure to emergency and multi-speciality hospital settings
