We are looking for a Backend Engineer with strong experience in the Microsoft .NET ecosystem to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs. The role requires strong problem-solving capability, and solid software engineering fundamentals.
The role will expose you to cloud infrastructure, designing and building distributed systems at scale, infrastructure as code and owning all aspects of software engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services using .NET / C#
- Build and maintain scalable REST APIs and Web APIs
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive root cause analysis
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, and product managers
- Improve application performance, reliability, observability, and scalability
- Document technical designs, APIs, and engineering decisions

1 to 3 years experience as a .NET Engineer, with a strong focus on Azure cloud services

In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft .NET framework, including C#, ASP.NET,
and Entity Framework.

Solid understanding of REST principles and API design

Solid problem-solving and debugging skills

Extensive experience designing and developing applications on Azure, using services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Service Bus, Azure Logic Apps, Azure API Management Gateway etc. Knowledge of Azure Kubernetes service is desirable

Proficiency in designing and implementing microservices architectures and serverless computing

Solid understanding of cloud security principles and best practices, including data encryption, identity management, and access controls

Experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and familiarity with DevOps practices

Experience with Terraform
