The Counsellor-cum-Faculty will play a dual role involving professional counselling for students and academic teaching in Psychology. The position requires solid clinical sensitivity, academic competence, and the ability to engage with students in a structured, ethical, and supportive manner within an institutional framework.

Minimum Requirements:

- Master’s degree in Psychology (mandatory)
- For Faculties: PhD/NET/SET in Psychology (desirable)

Responsibility:

Key Responsibilities:-

Counselling Responsibilities

- Provide professional student counselling services addressing academic, emotional, behavioural, and psychosocial concerns
- Conduct individual and group counselling sessions in line with ethical and institutional guidelines
- Identify students requiring specialised intervention and coordinate referrals where necessary
- Maintain confidentiality, documentation, and counselling records as per professional norms

Academic & Faculty Responsibilities





- Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate Psychology courses as assigned
- Mentor and guide students in academic, professional, and personal development
- Participate in curriculum delivery, assessment, and academic support activities
- Contribute to departmental academic initiatives, workshops, and student-engagement programmes
