The Social Studies Teacher is responsible for teaching subjects such as History Geography Civics and Environmental Studies helping students understand society culture and the world around them The teacher will create an engaging inclusive and values-based learning environment Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver age-appropriate Social Studies lessons as per the prescribed curriculum Explain concepts clearly using stories maps charts activities and discussions Develop worksheets lesson plans assessments and projects Encourage critical thinking curiosity and awareness of social responsibility Integrate current events moral values and life skills into lessons Assess and evaluate students academic progress regularly Maintain accurate records of attendance assessments and progress reports Manage classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment Participate in school activities assemblies events and meetings Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress Collaborate with colleagues for curriculum planning and improvement Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Social Studies History Geography Education B Ed or equivalent teaching qualification preferred Experience teaching at primary or middle school level preferred Good command of English and regional language if required Skills Competencies Strong subject knowledge Excellent communication and classroom management skills Ability to make lessons interactive and student-centered Patience empathy and passion for teaching Basic knowledge of educational technology and teaching aids Desirable Qualities Commitment to continuous professional development Positive attitude and teamwork Creativity in lesson delivery Alignment with the school s values and vision Job Type Full time Pay From 12 321 38 per month Work Location In person
