Job Title: Logistics & Accounts Executive (Agro-Trading)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and multi-talented Logistics & Accounts Executive to join our growing agro-trading business. In this role, you will bridge the gap between operations and finance by managing our daily transport operations, coordinating with drivers, negotiating freight charges, and maintaining accurate financial records of all transit expenses.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics & Fleet Coordination:

Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, truck owners, and transport vendors.

Negotiate and finalize freight charges based on current market and mandi rates.

Track vehicles from the loading point to the final delivery destination to ensure timely supply.

Resolve on-ground issues regarding loading, unloading, or transit delays efficiently.

Accounts & Expense Management:

Maintain complete records of transport-related expenses, including fuel costs, driver advances, halting charges, and final balances.

Verify driver logs/bilty and process timely payments.

Update daily and weekly logistics expenditure sheets using MS Excel or accounting software.

Vendor & Driver Relationship:





Build and maintain strong relationships with local transport networks and drivers to ensure vehicle availability during peak seasons.

Handle driver queries and disputes firmly and professionally.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in Logistics Coordination, Transport Operations, or Mandi/Agro-industry accounting.

Key Skills:

Excellent Communication: Solid verbal skills in Hindi and local dialects to deal effectively and firmly with drivers.

Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate competitive freight rates with vendors.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel (maintaining expense trackers) and basic knowledge of accounting principles or software (like Tally).

Education: Graduate (B.Com, BBA, or any relevant degree). Candidates with a commerce background will be preferred.

Traits: Problem-solver, street-smart, and capable of handling high-pressure situations on the field or phone.
