Position: ZENworks Senior Specialist

:

- The ZENworks Senior Specialist provides design and engineering leadership for the platform owning configuration standards, complex problem resolution, and the technical execution of upgrades and migrations.
- The role bridges operations and architecture, translating requirements into robust, scalable ZENworks designs.
- Operating at a senior individual-contributor level, the role acts as a high-level escalation point, drives automation and governance, and supports solutioning for ZENworks engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design of ZENworks services and configuration standards across the estate.
- Own complex problem management and act as L3/L4 technical resolver for major incidents.
- Plan and lead the technical execution of zone upgrades, migrations, and consolidations.
- Define security baselines, hardening, and operational governance for the platform.




- Drive the automation strategy (zman, ZENworks APIs, scripting) and reporting frameworks.
- Contribute to architecture topology, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
- Support solutioning and effort estimation for ZENworks engagements.
- Provide technical guidance and design review to engineers on the workstream.
- Engage with client technical stakeholders on designs and roadmaps.

Required Technical Skills

- Expert ZENworks Configuration Management across all modules, with strong zone architecture depth.
- Upgrade and migration planning and execution at enterprise scale.
- Database backends (MS SQL Server / Oracle / PostgreSQL) and Linux / Windows primary server administration.
- Advanced automation and reporting (zman, APIs, Jaspersoft).
- PKI, user-source integration, and content distribution design.
- Architecture-level ITSM governance across problem and change.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

- Exposure to ZENworks-to-Intune / SCCM modernization programmes.
- Working knowledge of a second endpoint platform (Intune, SCCM, or BigFix).
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks, NIST).

Qualifications & Certifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- ZENworks certification; ITIL v4; relevant Linux certification — preferred.
