About the Role

Desher Publishing Services Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a creative and detail-oriented K–12 Book Designer to join our publishing team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in designing educational books and creating visually engaging templates using Adobe InDesign.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and layout K–12 educational books, workbooks and teacher resources.
- Create creative, attractive and reusable page templates.
- Produce print-ready files following publisher specifications.
- Handle page composition, image placement, tables, diagrams and infographics.
- Ensure consistency in typography, colours and layout throughout the book.
- Coordinate with editorial and production teams to meet project deadlines.
- Perform quality checks before final delivery.

Required Skills
- 1–5 years of experience in book design or publishing.
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe InDesign (mandatory).




- Good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator .
- Robust understanding of typography, page layout and print production.
- Experience in designing K–12 educational books is highly preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with international educational publishers.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and digital publishing will be an added advantage.
