Responsibilities and Duties

- Assess, admit, and manage critically ill patients under the supervision of the ICU Consultant.
- Monitor patient vital signs, ventilator settings, ABG reports, ECG, and laboratory investigations.
- Attend ICU rounds and implement treatment plans prescribed by consultants.
- Identify patient deterioration and immediately inform the Intensivist/Consultant.
- Perform emergency procedures such as CPR, airway management, intubation, defibrillation, and central venous access (if trained and authorized).
- Prescribe medications and order investigations as per hospital protocols.
- Coordinate with nursing staff and other departments to ensure timely patient care.
- Maintain complete and accurate patient records, progress notes, ICU charts,



and discharge summaries.
- Ensure informed consent and documentation are completed before procedures.
- Attend all Code Blue, Rapid Response Team (RRT), and emergency calls.
- Follow infection prevention and control practices, biomedical waste management, and patient safety protocols.
- Communicate patient condition and treatment updates to consultants and authorized relatives.
- Participate in clinical audits, mortality meetings, CME programs, and NABH quality initiatives.
- Ensure proper handover during shift changes.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the Medical Superintendent or ICU Consultant.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
