Hiring: Manager Loan Against Property (LAP) & SME Finance

Location: Shivaji Nagar, Pune

Experience: 10–15 Years

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Commerce / Finance (MBA Preferred)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Manager – LAP & SME Finance to drive business growth, sourcing, team development, and portfolio management for Loan Against Property (LAP) and SME lending products. The ideal candidate should possess strong market knowledge, credit understanding, channel management expertise, and a proven track record in achieving business targets while maintaining superior portfolio quality.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Revenue Growth

- Drive sourcing and acquisition of quality Loan Against Property (LAP) and SME loan business within Pune and surrounding markets.
- Build and execute territory-wise business development strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Develop strong sourcing channels through Direct Sales Teams, DSAs, connectors, brokers, and referral networks.
- Create and manage a healthy business pipeline, sales funnel, and AUM growth plan.

Credit Assessment & Portfolio Management

- Conduct preliminary screening and assessment of loan applications from credit, legal, technical, and financial perspectives.
- Evaluate borrower profiles, property security, loan eligibility, and repayment capacity.
- Coordinate with credit, legal, technical, and operations teams for smooth loan processing and disbursement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, lending norms, and regulatory guidelines.





Team Leadership & Channel Management

- Recruit, train, mentor, and lead high-performing sales and business development teams.
- Set clear KPIs and performance benchmarks to drive productivity and target achievement.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with channel partners, connectors, and sourcing agencies.
- Foster a culture of accountability, customer-centricity, and performance excellence.

Profitability & Business Planning

- Monitor business profitability considering cost of funds, operating expenses, and portfolio yield.
- Prepare business forecasts, sales plans, MIS reports, and performance dashboards.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.
- Take corrective actions to ensure achievement of MoM, QoQ, and YoY business objectives.

Collections & Asset Quality

- Oversee portfolio health and ensure strong recovery mechanisms.
- Maintain excellent asset quality with focus on Zero Delinquency, Minimal Overdues, and NIL NPA.
- Ensure timely collections, customer servicing, and post-disbursement relationship management.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 10–15 years of experience in Loan Against Property (LAP), SME Loans, Business Loans, Mortgage Lending, NBFCs, Banks, or Financial Institutions.
- Strong understanding of credit underwriting,



property evaluation, legal documentation, and lending processes.
- Proven experience in business sourcing, territory management, and team handling.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets, portfolio growth, and profitability goals.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Robust customer relationship management and service orientation.
- Ability to thrive in a high-performance, target-driven environment.
