About the Role
Vartika Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals is hiring a Store Officer to manage engineering stores and general items inventory at our facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in inventory control, material handling, and store operations within a manufacturing or process industry environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of engineering stores and general items store
- Maintain accurate stock records for spares, consumables, tools, and general supplies
- Handle GRN (Goods Receipt Note), issue slips, and stock reconciliation
- Coordinate with purchase and maintenance departments for material requirements
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and identification of engineering spares and materials
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain minimum stock levels and raise indents for reordering
- Ensure compliance with safety and housekeeping standards in store areas
- Maintain records in ERP/inventory management software
- Prepare stock reports (daily/weekly/monthly) for management review
Requirements
- Diploma/Graduate in any stream (preference for Mechanical/Engineering background)
- 2–4 years of experience in store management, preferably in engineering stores
- Familiarity with inventory software/ERP systems (SAP, Tally, or similar)
- Good knowledge of engineering spares, tools, and consumables
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with cross-functional teams
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
