Role Description: The Senior Researcher – Engineered Protective Coatings will lead the research, design, development, testing, qualification, field implementation, and certification of advanced engineered protective coating systems for industrial infrastructure including pipelines, storage tanks, process equipment, steel structures, and concrete assets. The role involves converting scientific concepts into commercially deployable coating technologies while ensuring compliance with national and international standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Boduppal, Hyderabad, involving hands-on laboratory work, experimental design, and data analysis to improve performance characteristics such as durability, corrosion resistance, and environmental stability.





Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing R&D; projects, preparing and testing coating formulations, documenting procedures and results, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, interpreting analytical data to guide product improvements, and preparing technical reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.

The Senior

Researcher will mentor junior team members, help implement quality control protocols, and contribute to scaling promising technologies toward commercial application.

Job Location: Boduppal, Hyderabad. (Full-time, On-site) Qualifications:

3–6+ years of industrial or research experience in protective coatings, polymers, corrosion protection, or related materials development.

Experience in taking products from laboratory development through qualification and industrial implementation is preferred.

M.Sc. or M.Tech. or Ph.D. in Polymer Science, Polymer Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Coatings Technology, Surface Engineering, or related discipline; significant relevant industry or research experience is highly valued.





Candidates should possess solid Laboratory Skills and hands-on experience with coating formulation, application, and material testing.

Candidates should possess robust Research and Development (R&D;) capabilities and Research experience in engineered materials, surface science, or protective coatings.

Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills, including data interpretation, use of characterization techniques, and problem-solving in experimental design.

Candidates should possess solid Quality Control knowledge, including setting test parameters, monitoring process consistency, and ensuring compliance with internal standards.

Familiarity with coating characterization methods (e.g., adhesion tests, hardness, corrosion testing, environmental exposure) and related instrumentation.

Ability to document work clearly, prepare technical reports, and communicate results effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in office in a start-up environment.
