We are seeking a highly skilled Senior/LeadAKAMAI Security Expert to join our team and provide specialized support in securing eCommerce platforms. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in AKAMAI CDN services, with a focus on security solutions such as bot detection and mitigation, DDoS protection, and application layer security. You will collaborate closely with our cybersecurity, DevOps, and eCommerce development teams to design, implement, and maintain robust security postures across high-traffic digital platforms.

Responsibilities - Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for AKAMAI security features, particularly in Bot Manager, Web Application Protector (WAP), and DDoS protection

- Configure and optimize AKAMAI CDN rules and security configurations to align with business and application needs
- Monitor and analyze security threats across the eCommerce landscape
- Develop mitigation strategies and incident response procedures
- Support ongoing improvements in bot detection, rate limiting,



edge security policies, and custom rule sets
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors to troubleshoot issues and implement best practices in edge security
- Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to internal teams as required Requirements - 6-14 years of general IT experience, including 6+ years of experience in Security Engineering
- AKAMAI certification(s) or equivalent hands-on expertise
- Expertise in AKAMAI CDN services, with a focus on security solutions such as bot detection and mitigation, DDoS protection, and application layer security
- Experience working in regulated industries or environments with PCI-DSS or GDPR compliance requirements
- Proficiency in collaborating with application development, QA, and DevOps teams
- English proficiency at a B2 level to ensure effective communication and documentation
