WEPS is building a smart air freight network focused on Yemen , operating through transit countries (UAE, Oman, KSA, etc.) to overcome logistical and regulatory constraints.

The platform will also expand from China to serve Saudi Arabia and regional markets .

? Role Objective

We are looking for a high-level operator who can build, optimize, and execute global air freight operations — not just manage them.

This role is designed for someone who can directly impact cost, speed, and network strength .

? Key Responsibilities

- Develop and optimize a global air freight network across multiple origins.
- Build strong partnerships in transit countries (UAE, Oman, KSA) to enable DDP and last-mile delivery solutions.
- Improve domestic transportation networks within transit countries.
- Secure and manage high-discount express shipping accounts globally.
- Handle shipment pricing, routing, and execution .
- Perform daily rate updates (per kg) for express and air freight.
- Operate and utilize online freight platforms for booking and rate comparison.
- Plan and execute shipments with optimal routing strategies (cost vs time vs risk).
- Improve delivery timelines and operational efficiency .
- Build and manage strong relationships with airlines, agents, and freight partners .
- Handle operations within free zones (UAE & Oman) .

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Achieve 5–15% cost reduction within the first 3 months.
- Improve delivery time by 20–30% .
- Maintain >90% on-time shipment performance .

Network Expansion KPI

- Build 3–5 active partners within 3 days per target country .

Booking Speed KPI

- Express shipment booking ≤ 10 minutes
- Air freight booking ≤ 30 minutes

Operational Excellence

- Reduce operational issues by 30%+
- Maintain daily rate accuracy >95%




- Achieve zero critical shipment failures

- Strong Air Freight Operations Expertise (Hands-on)
- Advanced Route Planning & Optimization
- Strong Problem-Solving under pressure
- Deep understanding of Air Cargo processes & documentation
- Experience with DDP, Incoterms, and customs workflows
- Strong negotiation and carrier management skills
- Ability to work with data, pricing models, and cost structures
- High proficiency in online freight/logistics platforms
- Strong execution mindset and speed
- KPI-driven and performance-oriented

? Preferred Certifications

- IATA Certification (Cargo Introductory / Dangerous Goods / Air Cargo)
- FIATA Diploma in Freight Forwarding (Preferred)
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) – Preferred
- Any certification in Logistics, Freight Forwarding, or Supply Chain

? Experience Requirement

- Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in Air Freight Operations
- Experience in multi-country logistics and transit operations is highly preferred
- Experience in high-pressure, execution-driven environments is required
