Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Retail Merchandiser & Planner to manage inventory planning, fabric sourcing, and sales optimization. The role involves cross-functional coordination with design, marketing, store operations, and vendors to ensure the right product availability, pricing, and profitability across retail and e-commerce channels.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Merchandising Planning

- Plan and manage fabric procurement based on demand, seasonality, and sales trends
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to minimize stockouts and overstock
- Track and manage slow-moving inventory and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate with vendors for replenishment and lead time management

Sales & Store Coordination

- Monitor sell-through rates across stores and product categories
- Execute visual merchandising (VM) strategies for product launches
- Collaborate with design, marketing, and store teams for seamless execution
- Support store teams with product knowledge and merchandising insights

Performance Analysis & Reporting

- Track and analyze sales, stock,



and product performance
- Generate MIS reports, inventory reports, and sales insights
- Identify gaps and recommend actions to improve product performance and sales

Market & Pricing Strategy

- Conduct market research on trends, competition, and customer preferences
- Support pricing strategy and margin optimization
- Work with vendors to ensure cost efficiency

E-commerce Management

- Manage online assortment, product availability, and launches
- Track e-commerce performance metrics and optimize listings
- Coordinate with content and tech teams for accurate product display

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Retail Management, or related field
- 5–6 years of experience in retail merchandising, inventory planning, or buying
- Robust knowledge of inventory management, demand planning, and supply chain
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MIS reporting, and retail analytics
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving ability
