Position: Production Manager Location: Bhiwandi Factory Experience Required: 8–10 Years Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Production Manager to lead and manage complete factory operations at our Bhiwandi manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in production planning, process improvement, manpower management, and factory operations.

Experience in the garment, bags, or umbrella manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.

The Production

Manager will be responsible for achieving production targets while maintaining quality, cost efficiency, and timely deliveries. The role also carries complete responsibility for the factory's Profit & Loss (P&L;).

Key Responsibilities Oversee the complete production operations of the factory.

Develop and implement production plans to ensure timely execution of customer orders.

Monitor and control production schedules to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.

Manage and coordinate all production departments, ensuring smooth workflow and optimum utilization of resources.

Ensure efficient production planning, scheduling, and inventory control.

Take complete ownership of the factory's Profit & Loss (P&L;), including cost control and productivity improvement.

Identify opportunities to reduce manufacturing costs and improve operational efficiency.

Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and raw materials.

Maintain production quality standards and ensure compliance with company SOPs.

Handle production planning and coordination with Purchase, Stores, Quality, Maintenance, and Dispatch departments.

Monitor machine performance and ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.

Possess hands-on knowledge of manufacturing machinery, production equipment, and troubleshooting.





Analyze production reports and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and reduce wastage.

Ensure adherence to safety standards, statutory regulations, and factory compliance requirements.

Lead, train, and motivate production supervisors and shop-floor employees.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and process optimization.

Ensure on-time delivery while maintaining required quality standards.

Prepare MIS reports related to production, efficiency, rejection, downtime, and overall factory performance.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, or any relevant discipline.

Additional certifications in Production Management, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma will be an added advantage.

Experience 8–10 years of experience in manufacturing operations.

Experience in the Garment, Bags, or Umbrella Manufacturing Industry will be preferred.

Proven experience in handling end-to-end factory production and managing large production teams.

Experience in managing factory P&L; and driving operational excellence is essential.
